Loved this Trish ❤️ We must be a very similar age. I get quite nostalgic when I think about that very late 80s early 90s period. I assume you’ve seen the Netflix adaptation of One Day? It does a great job of capturing that time period

Thanks Deenzy - yeah me too, the Stone Roses, Inspiral carpets, The La’s, The House of Love, the Sundays, the list is endless, the era is steeped in a golden nostalgia for me. I loved One Day, it really captured that time so beautifully 🙌🏻

Songs are about the one's mood at the time and the feeling in society-they encapsulate a memory both of how it was and how you would like it to be.

Like all of us-I can play records from the 60's (not all of you) and 70's (still not all of you) and remember girls, experiences, the feeling in young people--I was a teenager in the 60s and a student 1968 ff---Vietnam war, Flower power, Civil Rights N.I and.......

The 60s and 70s were very interesting times Hugh and produced some of the most beautiful music and films which stand the test of time 👌🏻

At 69, I'm past the age where this music would now have an effect on me. But in my early 40s, I became acquainted with The Corrs and an especial favorite song they did called "Breathless". To this day, although it is a 90s tune, it still can rock my world. I used it for its extreme motivational properties. (to me), especially when I was sitting on my dirtbike, waiting for the motocross gates to drop. I no longer race given my age and potential risks that could result in poor or slow healing, but that song can still rock my world whether I'm out hiking or riding my mountain bike. I know exactly how you feel.
